Calendar API

Free, read-only JSON. No key needed. Responses are UTF-8 and can be called from any website (CORS enabled).

Month

GET https://sambatpatro.com/api/v1/months/<bs-year>/<bs-month>/ — the month plus the months before and after it. Each day has its AD date, tithi, holiday flag, events and sunrise/sunset (seconds after midnight, Nepal time).

Day

GET https://sambatpatro.com/api/v1/day/?bs=2083-06-21 or ?ad=2026-10-07 (default: today in Nepal) — the full panchanga: tithi and when it ends, paksha, lunar month, nakshatra, yoga, karana, moon sign, and events.

Convert

Holidays

GET https://sambatpatro.com/api/v1/holidays/<bs-year>/ — every holiday in the year. national is false for holidays limited to a region or group; approximate is true until the date is confirmed (for example Eid, which depends on moon sighting).

Banners

GET https://sambatpatro.com/api/v1/banners/?for=web or ?for=widget&w=300 — announcements showing right now, with their title, text, colour, image and click-through link. Each has starts_at/ends_at, so cached copies can expire on time.

Range

GET https://sambatpatro.com/api/v1/meta/ — supported years and today's date. Months whose length is not yet officially published are marked "official": false.
