By using the Sambatpatro website, desktop widget, API or embedded calendars, you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy policy.
The service
Sambatpatro is free to use. We may change, pause or stop any part of it. We try hard to keep dates correct: tithi and festivals are calculated, and holidays are checked by our editors. But festival dates can depend on moon sighting or on decisions announced later, and the government can add or move holidays at short notice. For anything important, such as travel, exams or legal deadlines, check the official notice.
Your account and content
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Your notes are yours. You let us store and process them only to provide the service (including syncing them with Google Calendar if you connect it).
- You can delete your account at any time in Account settings.
Acceptable use
Don't use Sambatpatro to break the law, to attack, overload or scrape the service beyond normal use, to get into other people's accounts, or to pretend to be Sambatpatro.
Embedding the calendar and using the API
You may embed our calendars on your website and use the public API for free, as long as you keep the “Sambatpatro” link that comes with the embed and don't present the calendar as your own work. We may limit or block sites or apps that misuse the service, overload it, or show it next to unlawful content.
Banners and links
The site and widget can show announcements and advertisements, some from other businesses. We aren't responsible for other websites or for what advertisers offer. Check before you buy.
Desktop widget
Download the widget only from this website. You may install it on your own computers. Don't sell it or distribute changed copies as Sambatpatro.
No warranty and limits of liability
Sambatpatro is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses caused by using the service or by a date or holiday being wrong, missing or changed.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
